The Métis Memories of Residential Schools Mural has officially launched.
Each tile is a large canvas painting that tells the story of Métis experiences in the institutions and the impact on our children, families, and community. The tiles tell stories of truth, tragedy, resistance and resilience.
The large mural will be at Métis Crossing, then travel around the province. We hope everone gets an opportunity to see it in person.
The wonderful people at Rupertsland have created an online, interactive version of the mural free for all to learn from. Each tile has a detailed description, suggested lesson plans, and resource links to learn more.
